Dear colleagues and friends,
It is a great pleasure for me to extend to each of you a cordial greeting and to inform you that we are actively working to structure the XXIII International Congress of Surgery and Traumatology Bucomaxillofacial, CIALACIBU 2023 Asuncion – Paraguay, of the ALACIBU accompanied by the Society of Surgery and Traumatology Bucomaxillofacial (SPCBMF).
The Organizing Committee of the Congress is made up of outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate teaching professionals with vast experience in the organization of academic events of this magnitude, so the scientific proposal will surely be of the highest academic level, with the contribution of lecturers of recognized worldwide trajectory.
The main objective of this type of event is to provide access to several generations of surgeons and future specialists to learn about the latest technical and technological innovations, treatments, instruments, and supplies, and consequently strengthen the specialty in our country and throughout Latin America, to offer a better service to our population.
It is worth mentioning that this scientific event belongs to the various National Societies that make up ALACIBU, Paraguay being on this occasion, its host, offering them also the space to enjoy the city of Asuncion, known as Mother of Cities, as it became the center of the whole province, since from its ports left the expeditions for the foundations of other colonies. You will be able to know its rich history and culture, an officially bilingual country where more than 87% of the population speaks Guarani, a language more than 500 years old, transmitted through generations, without losing its strength; you will also be able to enjoy its gastronomy, modern corporate centers, etc., and the warmth of the Paraguayan people.
We live in a different time because of the COVID-19 pandemic that forced us to value more every minute of life and human relationships, so I invite you fraternally to accompany this challenge.
